John feels blessed to be married to his best friend Adelheid, has two wonderful children and blessed with a kind son-in-law & daughter-in-law, grandfather of six very special grandchildren. John and Adelheid are currently seeking God's leading to find a new church home but continue to serve as spiritual support for several elderly saints. John is a founding director and has been actively involved on the Board since 1991. John's desire is to serve God faithfully.
Lisa began studying at Solid Ground in 1996.She immediately became hooked on in-depth Bible study and the wonderful teaching that Solid Ground provides. She joined the Board in 2002, and is passionate about seeing others learn to dig deeply into God’s Word. Lisa and her husband Bill have two beautiful daughters. Lisa and Bill attend Radiant City Church in Kitchener.
Herman has learned to highly appreciate the Bible and to study it with an open heart. Solid Ground is a ministry helping people to learn more about God, about Jesus and about life by studying the scriptures together. Herman is a civil engineer, has biblical seminary training and has been involved in Solid Ground since the 1990’s. Herman is married to Elizabeth, they have four married children and ten grandchildren. He feels blessed and challenged to help others learn more about the love of God and to experience Jesus personally, as inspired and taught through the Bible.
